The differentiator

Super calculators

Every other calc site has 50 individual tools. ShowMath has the chained-context layer: fill your profile once and these super calcs compose 4–6 primitives into one end-to-end answer with every step visible.

Fill your profile 110 nodes · 123 edges

Operating model

One profile, many chained answers

01

Profile memory

Stable fields like income, debt, mortgage, rate, weight, and goals fill matching inputs across every chain.

02

Primitive run

Each step calls a single explainable calculator, keeping the formula visible instead of hiding the math.

03

Chain payload

The ordered result stores headline, steps, assumptions, scenarios, and sensitivity levers as one shareable object.

04

Graph view

The constellation reads the same composition map so you can see which primitives feed each super calc.

Preset starts

Launch a full scenario, not a blank form

These links prefill a super calc with a real-world persona so the chain becomes useful immediately and still shows every step.

Comprehensive plans (super-super)

These run multiple super calcs in sequence and surface the highest-leverage moves.

Why super calcs (and why now)

Every personal-finance and contractor-pricing question is actually a chain. You don't just want to know your BMR — you want the calorie target that comes from BMR × activity × goal, plus the macro split, plus how many sets per week to hit the goal. You don't just want a quarterly tax estimate — you want the SE tax + federal brackets + retirement deduction + safe-harbor split that adds up to it. You don't just want a cap rate — you want the cap rate, the cash-on-cash, the after-tax cash flow, and the 5-year equity projection.

Every other calculator site stops at the first step and forces you to retype the same numbers across five tabs to get the chain. ShowMath super calcs run the whole chain in one pass. Every step is visible — you can verify it, hand it to your accountant, or click through to the standalone calc to see the formula and source.

How profile prefill works

Fill the profile page once. Anything you enter — weight, shop rate, mortgage balance, target margin — is stored under an anonymous device id and used by every super calc as the default for matching fields. You can override inline on any calc without touching the profile.

The chain is serializable

Each super calc returns an ordered chain of step results plus their numeric values. That payload is what powers the 3D constellation visualization — every primitive is a node, every super calc is a hub, every super-super is a meta-hub, and edges run compose → chain. Drop the result chain in to animate value flowing through the graph.

Layer 2 (super-super) is what nobody else has

Composition stops at one level on every other calc site. ShowMath super-supers run multiple super calcs in sequence and surface the top 3 highest-leverage moves. Complete financial health runs tax + wealth + home affordability and tells you exactly where the next $1,000 should go. Contractor business 360 runs profit + tax + wealth and quantifies the two moves (rate raise + tax-deferred bump) that double your retirement net.
